Vanderbilt Health seeks to improve the healthcare of communities throughout Middle Tennessee by providing distinctive personalized care. To help provide for the influx of residents around the hospital’s flagship facility, Vanderbilt Health engaged HMKA to design a new prototype clinic that combines both Primary Care and Walk-In services. The Belcourt Walk-In Clinic is plugged into the retail floor of a multifamily development in the 12 South neighborhood, connecting Vanderbilt to communities to provide easy access to healthcare for both walk-in patients and primary care visits. This clinic was the prototype for several clinics in which Vanderbilt partnered with HMKA to strategically place healthcare in growing Nashville communities, such as 12 South, Melrose, and Mt. Juliet.
